1999 Season: Recorded his 12th consecutive season with 15 or more wins and 19 for the third time...His 3.57 ERA was the highest in a season since 1987, when he posted a 5.61 with the Cubs and the first time over 3.00 since 1991 (3.35)...1999 also marked the first time he did not throw at least one shutout in a full season and the four complete games were his lowest total since 1987, when he threw one...Earned his 10th consecutive Gold Glove award, tieing him with Ken Griffey Jr. for the longest current streak among active players...Compiled a 12-4 record with a 2.86 ERA (5th in NL) in 19 starts at home but went 7-5 on the road with a 4.71 ERA in 14 starts...Averaged 92 pitches a start, 4th lowest in the NL but allowed a career high 258 hits...
